Boxed pouches

Boxed Pouches, they are small, cute and fun! I enjoyed sewing them, they are very easy. Got this pattern free online. I also tried making them with this textured pattern in white. t's a very nice touch to the piece... I like it!!!! =) If you want the patter, feel free to ask, I will send you a copy! These boxed pouches are 6" x 3" x 2".

Posh messenger bag

This was a free pattern available @ internet, but it was really hard to follow.
I tried my best. Now that I kinda know how to make this, I can make some changes and try to put some stuff before the others.

I would've made this bag a little bit more stiffy by using an interface or something, but besides all the trouble, I like the way it looks... very neat and posh.

Finish size 10" x 11" x 3".

Bag tag - simple and nice

Oh this is really cute. I don't even know why I did not think on making them before.
I saw it online and thought I could make it without a pattern... a pattern for a bag tag was 7 bucks, so I just tried and I liked it. Easy and simple. I just need now to put my address in there and use on my next trip to see my folks! :)

The small bag is now fixed!!

Well, previously I have posted that this pattern I got was not that small....
Ok, so now I shrunk the bag and added a long strap... voila! It turned into an awesome purse!!!
It is now a decent size, not flimsy like the other one! I am happy with the results. Finish size 5" x 8" x 2".

Not so little handbags

When I got this pattern from "Butterick", I though these bags they refer at the pattern would be more like wristlets, as they have little cords and seem small... for my surprise when I finished one of their pattern, the finished size came out as 6" x 11", I was WOW these are def not wristlets. There are some moridication I want to make, like, putting a cardboard inside the fabric to make it stiff, add some inside pockets and of course, reduce the size. Following, you will see the pictures of this bag, it came out really cute, but big. It was a good exercise to practice some different pattern and technique!

Organize your stuff!!! =)

These organizers helped me a lot to put my sewing stuff in order. They are extremely useful and easy to make! Thanks again "Lazy Girl Design" for that... this pattern is really well made and easy to follow. These organizers are called "SUZI" and they can be made in 2 sizes and as much pockets as you want. I was making mine as a set using the same pattern on both, in different places. They also use this design to use as an insert inside bags. So much easy to leave your stuff in here and if you switch bags, just get your Suzi with you. Excellent project, fun to sew and see final product!!
Finished sizes: Medium 6.5" x 4.5" x 3" and large 8.5" x 4.5" x 3"

Candice... carry you iPad in this cute bag!

This is the bag I was waiting for so long at my favorite blog, "Lazy Girl Design". It was really worth it waiting.... The coolest thing about this bag "Candice" is that you can carry an iPad on the front pocket... very convenient and super cute. I just made mine and I love it!!! (L)
Orders can be placed via email.
Measurements are: 11" x 11.5" x 4.5"

Pouches & pouches!

One of the things that I really enjoy to sew are pouches. You grab a fat quarter and zipper, it will be done in seconds. They are so nice to organize things! I custom made one to put all my extra buttons and put a wooden button and embroidered the word "buttons" it looks so cute (see picture).
Or like the other thousand pouches I made for different purposes, you can just embroider names or words and put ribbons, beads, all the 'bling-bling' you want. One suggestion is you can make a set of 3 pouches with matching fabrics put the smallest one on top and a ribbon. Nice gift idea! Ohh, btw, this pattern I got from the "Lazy Girl Design". It works perfectly!
Finish size: small 5" x 7", medium 7" x 10" and large 9" x 13".

These baby bonnets are really cute, I honestly thought these would not look like the picture at the pattern instruction, but it does! "Simplicity" patterns are very easy to follow, however, some parts are tricky and you have to think and experiment to see if it looks right. Don't get frustrated, you will figure out. If you have doubts, email me and we will go thru it.
I was very happy with my first attempt to sew this, specially cause it was a gift for a friend. They truly loved it!!! :)
Again, if you are interested to purchase a baby bonnet, you can email me and discuss color and details.

Adorable! These things are so easy to make, I didn't even need a pattern... not that I am a pro on this topic, I'm still getting more and more experience, but yes, these are easy. You can make it yourself, just grab a basket, get a fabric that matches the basket and voila! Just decorate with ribbons, beads etc just be creative!!!!! It's a very nice gift if for example you make a set or 3... the ones in the picture, I put some baby girl's stuff and made a gift basket for a friend =)
If you have questions, I can help you! Drop me an email!

This bag is amazingly beautiful and handy

Miranda Day Bags... by "Lazy Girls Design"
These are magical bags. I use one I made a lot, just because it's like a tote. Very useful. Sometimes I am lazy even to open the flap because the click button annoys me. I just hate to hold the bag both sides to open it, or to close it. Lesson learned..... Now, for all these Miranda bags I'm making after the first one, I'm using a magnet button which closes the flap ... I would say ... almost automatically! It's so much more convenient that now I am considering making another one for me heheh.
I already made 4 of these. The blue with circles in the picture is on sale. I am making others to be sold as well. Contact me by email if any interest in buying one! Price range is $35, depending if you want wood or fabric handle.
Finish size is around 12" x 10" x 6".

"Margo Handbag" by "Lazy Girl Design"

This is a great purse! I got this from the "Lazy Girl" pattern, so called "Margo Handbag". It's great and easy to make. I enjoy matching the fabrics, you can also pick different colors inside and pockets. Although the pattern gives you a 10 1/4" x 9 1/4" x 4" handbag, I made it bigger to 17" x 14" x 4". The original was too small but now I am happy with the bigger size! For orders, email me we can discuss colors, sizes and prices.

Bears....

I thought stuffed bears were so difficult to make! I guess you just need creativity to match fabrics and putting pieces together! I tried to make 2 out of 2 and I just loved the results!!! Check it out!

Pincushion - It's a piece of cake!

This pincushion is really cool, it looks just delicious. I filled up this pincushion with grounded walnut shells and polyester fiberfill... heard the walnut shells keep the needles sharp, so I thought it would be a good idea, also it makes the cake heavy weight so it doesn't flip over. Very cute for gift ideas for sewing lovers.

Geek Pouch

Ohhh the Geek Pouch!!! This is a very very useful tool, at least for me! hehe
I take everything from pen drives, my card reader, iPhone cords, ear phones everywhere! I cannot live without this anymore. The pouch keeps all my geek stuff organized, untangled, easy to carry and I am not losing my little but useful things all over my bag as I used before. Just take it out of your bag, untie the ribbon, unroll and pick whatever you need! It's so practical! All the words are embroidered so it's very neat too! This creation is inspired by my mom's project where she keeps her paint brushes in a rolling pouch like this!! If you are interested, each bag is hand crafted and personalized, just let me know what you carry at most and all the pockets will be labelled as you wish! :)
Measure can also be personalized, the item picture is 10.5" x 6.5"
